When we found out we was pregnant, I knew straight away that I wanted to do pregnancy yoga and I had heard of HypnoBirthing and wanted to find out more information about it, so I did some more research and that’s when I came across Gwyneth at Body Mind and Breath Centre I started pregnancy yoga as soon as I could; around 13 weeks. From the first class I was hooked, it was a time where every week I could take some time for me and really connect with my beautiful growing baby inside me. I always felt so much better afterwards, relaxed both in the mind and body and the stretches really helped with my ever changing body and growing belly. I also did the 5 week HypnoBirthing course and it was fantastic! It helped me focus on the birth that I wanted, it helped release fears that I had about the birth (fears other people had put on me) it taught me how to truly relax and go within and gave me the confidence that birth can and is a natural event and that it can be pain free and a beautiful experience. It also gave my partner the confidence of knowing what he could do to support and help during the birth. The yoga and HypnoBirthing classes and all the practicing paid off as I had the most amazing birth! It was everything I had wished for and more; there was no such thing as pain or fear, just complete relaxation, excitement and joy. It was the most amazing experience of my life and I will defiantly be doing it ALL again next time! We are so grateful to Gwyneth for giving us the tools to have the birth of our dreams! Thank you.
