This session is designed to be complimentary to your anti natal classes, the focus is on managing the intensity of labor and how to providing loving and practical support as a birthing companion.
Gwyneth draws on her many years of experience teaching Hypnobirthing, Pregnancy Yoga and her studies in childbirth education.

Pregnancy is a time of transition in our lives, when many new changes and experiences arise, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Yoga offers you an opportunity help yourself manage these changes and prepare for the birth of your baby.
Gwyneth is an experienced yoga teacher who is also trained in Childbirth Education and Hypno~Birthing whos style offers a wonderful balance of flow stretches to release tension in the body, strengthening poses to prepare your body for birth, breathing and relaxation for calming your mind and nervous system.
Women learn how to soften and surrender with a deep inward focus on breathing, connecting your mind with your body and baby.
No previous yoga experience required. Suitable for all levels of fitness and flexibility.

I attended Gwyneth's yoga class from early on in pregnancy and I enjoyed the peace it provided so much that I usually tried to attend twice a week. Gwenyth has such an amazing welcoming spirit and beautiful energy that I knew I wanted to bring my partner along to the Active birth session so that he could be on the same page as me and we could continue to grow as a team. I was able to have a natural birth at the Cairns Private Hospital.
About 8 to 10 weeks after our beautiful son Zephyr was born I began to attend Gwenyth's mum and bub yoga classes, what a treat! It was a great chance to meet other new mom's in the area, to take time for myself and spend time with my baby. I attended classes until Zephyr became mobile around 6 months.
Now I attend Gwyenth's monthly wellbeing classes and they are always a welcome pleasure. She take such care in making sure that we all feel amazing and I look forward to returning each month.
